History

The project was born in the heart of God in 2005 with five students, recognizing the need for children living on the streets and without a responsible mother or father. We grew, and by 2011, we had 200 students and obtained authorization from the Ministry of Education as a registered institution.

Currently, we have a total of 245 students on full scholarships. By 2023, we have graduated 14 cohorts, with 57 students earning high school diplomas in sciences and humanities with a focus on computing, and we have provided education to over 1,500 students over the past 18 years. We have achieved successes in school Olympiads, in mathematics, physics, English, and computing.

In 2011, we implemented basic education and high school equivalency for adults, with a total of 198 graduates in 10 cohorts.

In 2024, we implemented accelerated primary education and a literacy program. And we continue moving forward...

Important Achievements

Currently, we have graduated 14 cohorts of daily high school students and 10 cohorts in weekend equivalency programs for adults. We are implementing pastry workshops with a diploma from the Ministry of Education, and computer repair and maintenance workshops with a certification in "Science Concepts Learned" in computing, accredited by www.code.org.

We have 3 computer labs and a fully equipped kitchen for workshops.

Investment

The operating costs are covered thanks to the donations from kind-hearted individuals who support the Operation Rescue Foundation. A student who enters kindergarten and graduates from fifth year of high school represents an investment of approximately $36,165. The monthly cost per student can reach Q1,290.00, as they are provided with education, meals, uniforms, school supplies, round-trip transportation from the educational center to their home, and food support for their families.

Community Involvement

As part of our support to the community, motivational talks are provided to families, offering them the necessary tools for the guidance and development of their children, along with training sessions and courses. Scholarships are offered to children living on the streets, those from low-income backgrounds, and the homeless, along with food packages, clothing, shoes, blankets, and other forms of support.
